Sorry for the delay on the blog writing, but the weather has just been too damn nice here. So I’ll pick up where I left off… The first 4 or 5 days here I had trouble with jet-lag & was feeling dizzy & light-headed many of the nights (no, not alcohol induced). So my first few days here weren’t all that enjoyable, but I made the best of it. Following our 2 nights in Bangkok, Mel, Nadia, Kris & I hopped a 14-hr bus ride to Krabi to catch our 2-hr ferry to Koh Phi Phi island. It was another long travel day but way worth it. We spent 3 nights in Koh Phi Phi at Andaman Beach Resort. Now I will admit that at this point, all the days have sort of blended into eachother, so I am unable to give you a day-by-day breakdown. We explored the village that has recovered very well so far from the Tsunami that devastated the island a few years back. One morning, Kris, Mel & I hiked to a lookout point to get some good view pictures of the village itself & surrounding water, as you can see in the pics. We hired a water taxi (long-boat) to take us to Long Beach where we spent an afternoon on the nicest beach I’ve been on.
